SEAN JOHN WRECKIN.....

How you doin today beautiful people...its me Steve-O aka @steve2da_izzO with a word or few..well this mornin i saw the Sean John 2010 Fall Collection Preview...and man is it on point. They have a ill theme called "RIVALRY" which the state is "Two opposing forces that wage war for glory and respect on and off the “field”of battle." The privileged, the proper, and the pure breed describe the three rivalries. The First Rivalry is the BLUE BLOODS basically the Elite..or Upper Class..those that most everyone want to be a part of, but hated by those who will never be accepted. The Second Rivalry is the CRIMSONS. This Rivalry stands for purpose but add their own swag to it. But between these two rivalries comes the fallen of both, who have made their own group called TEAM NOIR. They are the new threat to the Blue Bloods and Crimsons...dark and rugged but classy, and have become the envy of all. Although I have yet worn Sean John , well i take it back i do own a NO B. A-ness shirt...if u get my drift...was into makin the band then. haha other than that never rocked the SJ, but seeing this collection, i will def take a step in Diddy's direction. Well on that note, One Love, and Keep Lookin Up. (all images via SEAN JOHN)

MIA at grammys (viaDailyContributor)

"Somebody, anybody, everybody, SCREAAAAMMMM!!!" .....How many of you have heard that before? ME?, plenty of times...live concerts are some goooooood stuff!!!The venue, the sound, the lights, the hype!!! I've been to a lot of concerts in my more recent past...before that it was few and far in between. I DIGG LIVE MUSIC! I love and live for that kind of stuff....backstage, side stage, front stage, green rooms, airport pick ups, hotel lobby's, VIP, with all different kinds of bands, rock, christian, indie, country, rap and hip hop artists...every single one was and will be a great time! I also look at clothing attire bein worn by the artists on stage, just to see what they're into or what fashion trends are travelin from the east coast or west coast...I see a lot of Puma First Rounds, Chuck Taylor's and Nike Dunks and Blazers on the rock stage...skinny jeans...Vneck T's...vests, leather bombers with hoodies under...and alot of the times...blacked out! Thats more my style. Now Rap/Hip Hop, R&B, Pop...that has a litte more flavor...colors...and variety. I don't even know how to begin talking about the fashion on their stage. Not just Throwbacks and Nike Cortez anymore, thats for sure. Pinks, Purples, Patent Leathers, Denims, Diamonds, Silk, Leather, Suede, it doesn't stop. And neither does the music..it seems like the better the music and performance is, the more elite the fashion is. Of course we all like to go back to that old school feels good...and so does the fashion...for a limited time. Just a few thoughts I had on my mind. Here are some pics of some music icons that are fashion icons as well, and other that just have good 'ol clean swagger goin on. On that note I'm out...One Love, And Keep Looking Up.

Why hello there beautiful people...just @steve2da_izzO here for a word or few..So i was just sittin here admiring the nasty wet weather outside and one thing came to mind. Music. Now i listen to everything, rap, hip hop, rock, pop, pop punk, alternative, contemporary christian, country, etc...oh and yes tejano. haha. I used to play keyboard for a tejano called Grupo Fama..or Javier Galvan Y Fama....goodtimes. Now Javier is on his own, and im drumming for his new band. Though gigs have been slow, goodstuff ahead. Anyway so what i was going to say is the RAIN=GOOD MUSIC. Even if your not a musician, writer, or singer, you still make your playlist on your Mp3 right? haha and I bet the rain influences a great one! Me myself I'm at work listening to "Purisima Mix" by DjCasper. This guy right here has some ill mixes and is on point. One DJ that's not afraid to throw out something new because he has the ear to know its gonna get it hype. I mean did you ever think you'd hear Miley Cyrus and O.D.B. in the same track ?..haha i didnt but its a HIT! DjCasper or @killaka5 was in San Antonio for a grip but has now moved back to Miami where he's gettin refreshed and gettin that home grown love. Im sure if he's not already, he'll be gettin back on his grind soon. For some good mixes and info on DjCasper click HERE. I'd talk more about new music and whats coming out but so much to list or say and dont have the time right now. But i will leave you with some artists pics and links to get info on music and next performance, get familiar and support. On that note....One Love...and Keep Lookin Up.

Don't be an accesory to a crime...but it's a crime to not Accessorize!

Nooka Zub Zoo 38 Fire Engine Red (viaUpscaleHype)
(can buy Nooka watch @ Sole Boutique in SA,TX)

Whats poppin beautiful people! I'm back with for another word or two...and a bad word at that..GOSSIP. ((oohhh ahhh)) haha. So I recieved a message from someone sayin "congrats on your engagement to your girlfriend" HAHA! Although I wish it were true, it's not. Just goes to show how crazy stuff gets around even when you're not. In this case, wasn't anything too bad , actually funny, buuuuuuuut not always the case. Gossip can start a snowball effect on so many things that leads to good thing ending, breaking, or simply just dissappearing. Ice Cube said " I ain't Mike Jones , Keep my name out ya mouth" haha, word. Then again, to some people your name can be so tasteful, they cant help it. Ha. Always go to the source of the "news" that's goin around. If not then your just an Accesory to the Crime. Yes gossip, drama, instigating, it's all a crime in my book. Dont be an Accesory to a crime...but do Accessorize! Gossiping and drama may not look good on you, but the right accessories will! Lets talk a little about that...now u can have the simplest black dress on, or white-t for guys, but wearing the right accessories can maybe it look 10 times better. How bout we go even further to valentines day attire for 2010. No red clothing. Rock a little black dress, red necklace, red heels, red bracelets and earrings, and your pearly white smile and you're good to go. Guys Black Jeans, Black V-neck, Red Nooka watch, red rosary necklace and "Broken Heart" Supra Skytops. You're good to go. So as you Red...i mean Read ha, lets not be an accessory to a crime, such as gossip, and not commit a crime by not accessorizing. Ya digg...on that note..One Love...and Keep Lookin Up.

Denim is diamonds.....

H&M Spring 2010 Collection (via MashKulture)

Nike Air Max 1 x Patta Courdoroy/Denim (via Kix-Files)

Denim Printed Leather Zipper Pumps (via AlexanderMcQueen)

Sooooooo...this morning while here in the office i had denim on the mind...denim pants...denim vests.... denim shirts...and the different types of washes. I was thinkin that denim will be trendy in 2010. and after researching and lookin it seems so!!! Bobbie Thomas , Style Editor of Today Show says "denim is a definate DO in 2010!" She even goes as far as sayin from  head to toe. I know denim from head to toe sounds weak or weird lookin but its mos def NOT! I've even found a Denim Printed Leather pump for the ladies for the complete head to toe attempt. Many designers have also put denim in their lookbook's and fashion lines for the spring..such as H&M. Also, I'm not sayin blue denim is where its at, I'm talkin all kinds of shades , washes, tie die, and blacks to grays ...come one come all denim!!! It was the Nike Patta x Air Max 1 with Denim and Cordouroy that first caught my eye on denim. See, all the way down to the toes. I really feel like those old jeans in your closet or jean jacket may come to good use this year. And if you don't have much denim, get your bank and credit cards ready because you're gonna want some! Well till next time beautiful people....One Love, and Keep Lookin Up.

Big thanks leads to Big things...just ask @SoleBoutique

Sole Boutique 4025 Broadway San Antonio, TX 78209 210-822-SOLE (FollowOnTwitter)

Its me @steve2da_izzO (follow me haha) just here for another word or two. I've been noticing alot of thanks bein given lately from people on award shows, college football, NFL football, and other places as well. Mostly given to teamates, family, fans and last but not least God. Like this thanks,Colt McCoy lost biggest game to career date and his words were, "I always give God the glory. I never question why things happen the way they do. God is in control of my life. And I know, if nothing else, I'm standing on the Rock." (via MeridianStar) Thats some good stuff..and after a tough loss like that, kudos Colt. I feel that even success comes from who you're thanking, for what they've done, haven't done, and are going to do. A local shop here in San Antonio, Tx has experienced quite a bit of success and from what i can see, much more to come! Sole Boutique is a sneaker and urban wear shop that carries the latest fashion and premium goods here in San Antonio. If you're lookin to stand out in the crowd that's the place to go. In 2009 I noticed alot of tweets, Facebook posts, Blogs, about how successful they've been and all thanking God and his favor. I mos def agree. When you give Big thanks you do Big things! and Sole Boutique is definately doin BIG things!!! One of the big things happenin is that Saucony is given them their own shoe...whaaaaaaaat! YES. You will be able to cop a limited Sole Boutique Edition Saucony Shadow 5000...cant wait! Also Sole Boutique will be having their First Annual Sneaker Palooza March 14 2010 @ Witte Museum. Im sure this will be the first of many to come and one to remember. I will be there mos def. Tickets go on sale Jan 18th. Be there! Now remember Big thanks leads to Big things....if you dont believe me, then visit Sole Boutique and Sneaker Palooza and ask for yourself. If you cant, ill be sure to follow up on Sneaker Palooza and show you what Big things you missed. I'll leave you with a few new arrivals at the shop,so show some support. One Love, and Keep lookin up.

Come on H&M...step it up...get some @Brandt_Russo in ya life! ha

H&M clothing cut up and thrown (via NYTimes)

So im sure if you're in the Twitter world you've heard about H&M's big upset...if not..now you know. The unsellable merchandise is sliced up and put in a trash bag out in front for pick up.....WHAAAAAAAT!!!! Seriously...ummm do you not see the needy walkin by the store front everyday! Even the wanty walkin in the store everyday...ha. As George Straight says, "just give it away." If you need some help doin that hit up @Brandt_Russo to get'r done. Who's that you ask? That's the guy makin it happen for those who cant. Me and Brandt went to bible college together...and lets say...were not exactly certain pastors cups of tea...but we're mos def the guys makin sure the tea gets served. More than can say for others....Anyway, he lived on the streets for about a year, including Skidrow, helpin out the homeless...living on their level to show some love and elevate. Clothing them, feeding them, dumpster diving for dinner, whatever it took to bring out what God put in him. He started a tshirt company named "Cant Ignore The Poor" which benefits helping those in need. (getcha some) And recently he ran did Operation Starvation. A movement to fight hunger and deworm 1,000,000 children. His goal was to raise 15,500 to provide the medicine to do so. He literally starved himself till this was accomplished. 9 days it took, it took 1 man 9 days to help 1,000,000 children. Mind blowing. Even backed by celebrities such as Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Flobots, and others. So now tell me if 1 man can do all of this, how much can a coporation like H&M do for the world. No hate..just elevate. Lets take it up a level corporate america...use as an example to do so. If H&M can learn from their mistake, be a wiser company and learn from theirs. I still digg H&M. And Brandt, keep doin what you do. Love you J-dorm brother. Till next time..One love..and keep lookin up.
